What are the duties of an Education Officer in Nigerian Navy?

Education Officers are engaged in teaching science, technical and service subjects to naval cadets undergoing B. Tech training at the camp.

Provide guidance to field-based education team on common standards, innovative strategies and approaches.

Education Officers also impart instructions/training to officers during their ab-initio and specialisation courses at technical training.

What rank is Education Officer in Nigerian Navy?

The rank of a Nigerian Navy Education Officer immediately after recruitment is “Ordinary Rating”.

It is the first non-commissioned rank that successful recruits obtain after passing out of the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School (NNBTS).

How much is Nigerian Navy Education Officer paid monthly?

The Nigerian Navy salary is based on ranks.

And since the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School (NNBTS) entry rank is Ordinary Rating.

Your salary as a fresh Education Officer in Nigerian Navy immediately after recruitment will be around ₦45,854 monthly.

Requirements for Nigerian Navy Recruitment for Education Officer

The Nigerian Navy accepts ANY of these O’Level results (WAEC, GCE, NECO, NABTEB, WAEC City & Guilds or London City & Guild) at not more than 2 sittings and not older than 6 years from the date of your application.

You must have at least CREDIT in these subjects:

• Mathematics
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Any other Science subject

Higher education requirements for Education in Nigerian Navy

You are also required to possess:

• NCE in Arts/Science/Technical subjects.
