The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) portal, managed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has been reopened to provide businesses impacted by COVID-19 with the opportunity to access up to N25 million through NIRSAL Microfinance Bank.
This initiative, aimed at supporting businesses affected by the pandemic, was announced by the Personal Assistant to the President on Wednesday via his Twitter account.
The government, in its statement, outlined the scheme’s objective to assist more than 500,000 employees by shouldering the payroll responsibilities of vulnerable Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
