The Nigerian Defence Academy admits candidates into any of their NDA courses through UTME with specific requirements.
These admission requirements for NDA, gotten from their official website, are listed below.
General admission requirements for NDA
Your eligibility for the 74 Regular Course admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) is as follows.
You are required to:
- Be medically and physically fit and must be of good moral character.
- Be a single male or female without legal obligation to support any child or other individuals.
- Present a Certificate of indigeneship from the state government or local government area.
- Be at least 17 years old and NOT more than 21 years old as at the year of entry into the Academy.
- Be less than 1.68 metres tall for male and 1.65 metres for female.
French, Arabic, or Mandarin language is an added advantage.
Application form submitted without O’Level result will NOT be accepted.
Candidates awaiting result are NOT qualified to apply.
Only O’Level results of NOT more than 5 years old from the date of examination will be accepted.
You must also satisfy the O’Level and JAMB requirements listed below.
NDA admission requirements for UTME and O’Level
JAMB UTME is the way to gain NDA admission requirements for this UTME admission is as follows.
You are required to:
- Obtained at least five (5) O’Level credit at WAEC, NECO, NBAIS or NABTEB.
- Your O’Level subjects must include English, Mathematics and three other subjects relevant your course.
- Your five credits must be obtained in not more than TWO SITTINGS.
- Register for JAMB UTME and choose NDA as your CHOICE OF INSTITUTION.
- Score at least 180 or above in JAMB exam.
- Possess the correct NDA SUBJECT COMBINATION for your course.
Admission into NDA is for both male and female Nigerians only, and is limited to Navy and Airforce in the case of female candidates.
Conclusion
