Also, you must have sat for TRCN exam and PASSED to be eligible for both TRCN certificate and license.

If you’ve not met these requirements, SEE HOW TO REGISTER FOR TRCN now or CHECK YOUR TRCN RESULT to confirm that you passed the exam before proceeding to collect your TRCN certificate.
1. Pay the fees
After confirming your result, you’ll have to pay a fee (depending on your category) into a federal account via Remita for your certificate and license.
TRCN will NOT process your certificate or license until they confirm your interest in collecting it through your payment and documentation.
How much is TRCN certificate and license?
CATEGORY | CERTIFICATE & LICENSE |
---|---|
Category A | ₦10,000 |
Category B | ₦8,000 |
Category C | ₦6,000 |
Category D | ₦3,000 |
Payment is via Remita through the same payment process of your TRCN EXAM REGISTRATION.
Just select “REGISTRATION FEES” in the column for Name of service
2. Visit the TRCN office
After your successful payment, go back to the TRCN OFFICE where you registered for the exam and submit your proof of payment (bank teller or Remita receipt).
Also go with your school certificate, teaching qualification (if required) and 2 passport photographs for documentation.
NOTE THAT if you registered via an affiliated College of Education, your payment and documentation will be done through them.
3. Fill another form
The officer in the TRCN office will confirm your proof of payment and issue an official receipt.
He/she will then give you another form which requires the same information as when you registered for the exam.
But be more careful here…
Spell and arrange your names correctly on this 2nd form because that’s how it will be printed on your certificate and corrections are almost impossible.
4. Submit and …wait
Once you’re done with the form, submit it to the officer with your school documents and go home.
Your documents will be sent to TRCN HEADQUARTERS IN ABUJA to process your certificate which should be ready within a month or two.
How do I know if my certificate is ready?
TRCN headquarters will first print your certificate before sending it (among others) to the State office where you registered.
The logistics can take a month.
But once the TRCN office where you registered receives your certificate & license, they will contact you via SMS or phone call.
And if they don’t contact you after a month of making your payment, contact them.
GOOD LUCK.
